Dulcamara, also known as Bittersweet or Woody Nightshade, is a homoeopathic medicine derived from the fresh stems of the Dulcamara plant. Belonging to the Solanaceae family, it has been traditionally valued for its therapeutic properties in treating respiratory ailments, skin conditions, and rheumatic pains. In homoeopathy, Dulcamara is primarily used to address symptoms such as colds with watery discharge, skin eruptions aggravated by damp weather, and joint stiffness worsened by cold and dampness. It is also employed for its effects on hay fever, arthritis, and urinary tract infections.

- Rheumatic Pain
- Exacerbated by damp, cold weather. Symptoms include icy coldness, one-sided spasms, and relief from movement.
- Back Pain and Stiff Neck
- Characterized by stiffness and lameness in the neck and shoulders after exposure to cold and wet conditions. Pain in the lower back may occur after prolonged stooping.
- Cough and Asthma
- Symptoms worsen in cold, damp weather, presenting as a loose, rattling cough and spasmodic cough. Asthma is associated with difficulty breathing.
- Whooping Cough
- Aggravated by cold and often accompanied by profuse mucus.
- Diarrhea
