Borax, commonly known as Sodium Borate, is a homoeopathic medicine derived from the mineral borate of sodium. Belonging to the Borate family, it has been traditionally valued for its therapeutic properties in treating a variety of mucosal and fungal infections. In homoeopathy, Borax is primarily used to address symptoms such as oral thrush, canker sores, and fungal infections. It is also employed for its effects on alleviating symptoms of gastrointestinal disturbances, promoting wound healing, and managing conditions aggravated by downward motion.

- Borax is indicated for individuals who experience intense anxiety, especially related to downward movements like being carried downstairs or rocking. Such patients may have a fearful expression and exhibit startling reactions or hand movements as if fearing a fall.
- They are also prone to violent fright from loud noises, such as gunshots, and exhibit a general fear of thunder.
- Nervous Sensitivity
- Extreme nervousness, easily startled by sudden noises, with a heightened sensitivity to auditory stimuli.
- Headaches
- Characterized by nausea and trembling throughout the body.
- Hair may become tangled and difficult to separate, similar to the condition known as Plica Polonica.
