Indication / Benefits
Apis Mellifica acts on cellular tissues, causing edema of the skin and mucous membranes. It’s prescribed for symptoms that start on the right side and move to the left. Apis treats urticaria, insect bites, burns, urinary infections like cystitis, and edema or urine retention, especially in newborns. It also helps with eye, mouth, or throat inflammation, and fever. People benefiting from Apis are often fussy, restless, and irritable, showing behaviors similar to bees. They are over-sensitive, sad, and dislike being alone, often organizing others like a “queen bee” but can be jealous and suspicious.
